The course is open to the international community of museum educators and school teachers aiming to create a diversified, trans-national group of participants each contributing their experience and expertise. Participants are required to register using the online form before 10 July 2015
After the success of the first two editions we are proud to organize the third *INSPIRE* (INternational » Science Performance Is Ready« Event). Participants will learn how to: choose a topic for the Science Show; start planning a Science Show; add humour without being silly; avoid mistakes and traps; create contact with the public; act in front of the public; communicate science.

Sea Horizon is the result of PIER, a European project aimed at explaining how research and innovation can be responsible towards societies by taking into account the needs of people and the environment, as well as by involving citizens in all stages of research. In particular, we have chosen to show in our the exhibition the applied research on marine sciences through spectacular exhibits and multimedia products.
The Science Museum – Museum System of Camerino University presented on November 25th the exhibition “Rosetta, la cometa e i segreti del cosmo” (Rosetta, the comet and cosmos secrets), which will remain open until the end of May 2015. Life is delighted to host Game On 2.0, the biggest collection of playable computer games in the world!
From Sonic to Samus, Mario to Minecraft, Game On 2.0 is the world’s most comprehensive collection of computer games from the past 60 years. This major international exhibition is coming to Newcastle’s Life Science Centre in May 2015. Enjoy more than 100 playable games and explore the history and culture of gaming throughout the years. Retro-lovers can indulge in arcade classics such as Pac-Man, and more modern games such as Rock Band and Halo 3 are also available to play.
Experiment Zone is a brand new experience at Life Science Centre that encourages visitors to think and experiment like real scientists. They can explore how real science is done; carry out practical experiments using proper tools and materials and meet real-life working scientists. Visitors can work on alone, in a team or enlist the help of Life’s Science Explainers. Experiment Zone is included in the admission price to the Science Centre.
The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) in collaboration with Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST) will hold the second local robotics competition in November 2014, “The Robotheca Alexandrina Olympiad (RAO)”. It comprises two categories, the Diver Robot and the Robofight.
The competition will stimulate and engage students in exploring their potential in engineering, IT, science, and math, as well as project management. Participants must have Basic knowledge of electronics & programming.
Specialized judges will assess teams’ performance.
In cooperation with The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Planetarium Science Center and with the support of Mercedes-Benz as the main sponsor, the Goethe-Institut Alexandria presents the Science Film Festival 2014 in The Bibliotheca Alexandrina from 4-11 November 2014. The Science Film Festival, initiated by the Goethe-Institut in 2005, is a celebration of science communication. Targeting a young audience with excitingly well-designed science content, the Science Film Festival has grown considerably, becoming the largest event of its kind worldwide.
What did dinosaurs eat - and how do we know? Visitors are thrust into the world of dinosaur dining habits in this roaring spectacle of an exhibition. From the infamous flesh-eating T.rex to the plant munching Edmontosaurus , different dinosaurs ate different foods and often had unique ways of catching their dinner.
Life-size animatronic dinosaur heads, including the terrifying T.rex, show how the teeth and jaws move together to tear, grind and chew food.
The big exhibition for the Aegean Sea is moving to a new venue, the Planetarium of the Eugenides Foundation, from 3 September to 23 October 2014.

CERN offers an exciting opportunity to develop science learning activities in its major new project, Science Gateway. Deadline 15 March.
The International Centre for Life in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, is believed to be the first science centre in the world to be used as a COVID-19 large vaccination centre.
CERN is recruiting a creative-thinking Communications Officer with excellent communication skills. Deadline is 8 February.
In August 2018 we were contracted with the concept and detailed design of Techniquest‘s Science Capital, and, half a year later, to design and build it.The Science Capital project has been the biggest in nearly 34 years of Techniquest’s existence and was aimed to radically transform the science centre and diversify their audience. It consists of a significant extension, expanding the floor space by 60% and introducing 52 brand-new exhibits. The Science Capital was officially opened to the public on 14th November 2020.
In April 2019 we were contracted by Aberdeen Science Centre for the development, design, fabrication and installation of 60 exhibits and associated graphics for the new interactive galleries as part of a £6m renovation project. The ground floor themes are Energy, Space, Life Sciences and a special area for the under-6s. On the new First Floor exhibition is Make It and Test It, themed primarily on engineering and maths. The exhibits were chosen to be open ended, developing skills and encouraging repeat visits.
In January 2019 we were entrusted with the design and build of 86 interactive exhibits for the Medicine Education Center within Technoda Science & Technology Education Center. The hands-on, interactive exhibits are aimed to engage visitors of all ages in technologies that are used in medicine. The individual exhibits explore several themes, including ultrasound, endoscopy and surgery. The Medicine Education Center will be officially opened to the public end of 2020.
