The 2026 International Directors Forum takes place on 17 & 18 August and will be hosted at the National Science Museum (NSM) in Bangkok, Thailand. As Thailand’s national science museum, NSM invites both local and international visitors to explore science and technology through engaging, hands-on experiences. What is the International Directors Forum?The International Directors Forum is a global gathering of senior leaders in the science engagement sector - such as CEOs, directors, and managing directors of science centres and museums. This high-level forum is organised in collaboration with its six sister regional networks of ASPAC (Asia Pacific), ASTC (North America), Ecsite (Europe), NAMES (North Africa & Middle East), RedPOP (Latin America & Caribbean) and SAASTEC (Southern Africa). It offers a confidential, intimate two-day platform - for around 200 participants - where leaders can exchange strategic insights, share experiences, build cross-regional relationships, and shape collective action around vital themes.
