SOS. Lessons learned after a disaster - At present the media globalizes in real-time accidents and disasters generating unusual expectation: those of Japan, Chile, Indonesia, USA etc., are just to name a few, scenarios and yet the basis for changes in prevention. The public receives a lot of information about the event, but usually does not know the changes and improvements in terms of security and prevention that happen afterwards.
Risk Prevention, from a multidisciplinary approach, encompasses the accidents at work, home, natural disasters, transport, etc., which makes it a social investment, whose moral, human and economic reversal is unquestionable.
The exhibition is a friendly, emotional and understandable space that invites the visitor to participate and reflect, that activates their curiosity and addresses the risks and their prevention in an open and clear way.

The natural balance on earth is disrupted and we human are witness of the consequences of these transformations. Yet the Blue Planet homes a huge potential which could help us restore a natural balance. The ocean is source of hope as it can be a basis for innovation and sustainable economic activities. Humankind can make a better use of resources, innovate to create jobs and wealth. Islanders are facing practical impacts of global warming and they are committed to reverse this trend. In doing so they are source of inspiration and they call upon each one of us to follow their lead. This exhibit consists in a participative and innovative display. INVENTIONS - From Zany to Brainy! When you are thinking about inventions, you find out that everything that surrounds us – except nature – was thought, developed and improved by people. Which inventions were essential in the past? Which current inventions are important today? What has to be invented?
Children grow up with a lot of inventions. Constantly something is reinvented and all the time different inventions are improved. Children are living in the age of the new media, for them technology is naturally. But what’s behind? Children are just as curious as the innovative inventors.
The topic is very complex, but children learn about different inventions while using the inventions itself. So it is easy for them to understand why the invention was founded and how it works.
The children understand physical phenomena and gain scientific insights. But inventions isn’t just a topic of science and technology; it’s a topic about our everyday life. And inventions have an impact on the development of our society. We present a wide range of inventions to communicate what can be invented: nearly everything. Maybe the inventors of tomorrow are inspired.

Darwin the original - Charles Darwin is much more than an iconic character. He was first and foremost a scientist with revolutionary ideas. Charles Darwin, the original offers to go on an investigative, explorative journey into the unique mind of the man behind the scientific revolution.
Through experiments, hands-on exhibits and multimedia displays, the visitor will uncover how Darwin builds, backs up and illustrates his theory. Consequently, the visitor becomes familiar with his investigative approach that lends itself to an active museography. The rich graphic environment that reminds of the naturalist illustrations of the 19th century enhances the experience, offering in-depth immersion into Darwin’s thinking.
The exhibition reveals a fascinating, often misunderstood, universe to be discovered, which continues to influence our thinking and imagination.
Charles Darwin, the Original is produced by Universcience in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History of Paris.
The exhibition will be presented from December 2015 until August 2016 – Available for touring from Autumn 2017.
