SOS. Lessons learned after a disaster - At present the media globalizes in real-time accidents and disasters generating unusual expectation: those of Japan, Chile, Indonesia, USA etc., are just to name a few, scenarios and yet the basis for changes in prevention. The public receives a lot of information about the event, but usually does not know the changes and improvements in terms of security and prevention that happen afterwards. Risk Prevention, from a multidisciplinary approach, encompasses the accidents at work, home, natural disasters, transport, etc., which makes it a social investment, whose moral, human and economic reversal is unquestionable. The exhibition is a friendly, emotional and understandable space that invites the visitor to participate and reflect, that activates their curiosity and addresses the risks and their prevention in an open and clear way.

IDEA: Ancient Greek Science and Technology - This brand new travelling exhibition, developed by NOESIS- Thessaloniki Science Center and Technology Museum, will take you through a unique journey to the world of Ancient Greek Science and Technology. Discover inventions that were created during the antiquity, that influence the development of our societies even today. Astronomy, architecture, automata, arts are a few of the thematic areas of this exhibition. Coming up for the first time, including numerous artifacts, this exhibition highlights the most important moments of world history and the contribution of the Greek spirit to it.

The Science Behind PIXAR - Enjoy a unique look into the Pixar process, and explore the science and technology behind some of the world’s most beloved animated films and their characters with The Science Behind Pixar. This exhibition gives an unparalleled view of the production pipeline and concepts used at Pixar Animation Studios. Participate in more than 50 fun hands-on activities, listen to firsthand accounts from studio members, and come face-to-face
 with re-creations of
 your favorite Pixar film
 characters, including
 Dory, Buzz Lightyear, Edna Mode, Mike and
 Sulley, and WALL•E! The exhibition begins with a short movie to introduce the production pipeline. The exhibit is structured around the pipeline’s eight steps: Modeling, Rigging, Surfaces, Sets & Cameras, Animation, Simulation, Lighting, and Rendering. Visitors delve into the pipeline to explore the creativity and STEM concepts employed by Pixar filmmakers. Hands-on, screen-based and physical activities let visitors explore the computational thinking skills behind Pixar’s process in a compelling way. Developed by the Museum of Science, Boston in partnership with Pixar Animation Studios and the Science Museum Exhibit Collaborative.

Cuba - AMNH is developing a new traveling exhibition to showcase the wonders of this spectacular island on the threshold of great change. Opening in Fall 2016 and available to travel from Fall 2017, Cuba (working title) invites visitors to experience the island’s vibrant culture and surprising biodiversity, from the streets of Old Havana to dazzling coral reefs. Anchored by a 30-foot multi-user interactive map, this immersive exhibition introduces diverse environments and the unique species that call them home, the nation's complex social and political history, and its industrial and economic activities such as the sugar industry, and will also celebrate Cuba’s rich cultural traditions. First-person narratives and recreated scenic environments, models of endemic species and live animals, live performances and interactive exhibits will invite visitors to enter the Cuban experience. Proposed features include: Digital interactive map with dynamic vignettes & multimedia Mounted skeletons & models of unique species Recreated environments: Old Havana street scene, a Cuban rainforest diorama Scenic models and memorabilia: a classic car, bicitaxi, & street food vendors Live performances & dance lessons

"...it's so simple" and "Mix and play" exhibitions - Innovation Centre Mill of Knowledge is offering two new exhibitions for rent or exchange for other exhibitions: „…it’s so simple” and „Mix and play” The first one, „…it’s so simple”, is the modular, portable exhibition which consists of four main parts, 6-7 exhibits each, connected with physics, with a particular emphasis to the notions of force and energy, brain teasers and skill tasks, DIY and technology and contemporary technologies in the service of man. The exhibition design concept is unique, colourful and unconventional. Both furniture and exhibits are the elements of a great Tetris like puzzle. Each part could be presented separately but also together with another part of exhibition. It’s also possible to prepare the unique set of exhibits on the base of all the parts. „Mix and play” exhibition is the small portable exhibition with seven exhibits arranged in the specially designed area of a mobile honeycomb. Exhibition is possible to arrange in any space – from the 100m2 room to the big hall. Exhibition consists hit exhibits like: Heart bit, Scream out! or Echo effects.

Darwin the original - Charles Darwin is much more than an iconic character. He was first and foremost a scientist with revolutionary ideas. Charles Darwin, the original offers to go on an investigative, explorative journey into the unique mind of the man behind the scientific revolution. Through experiments, hands-on exhibits and multimedia displays, the visitor will uncover how Darwin builds, backs up and illustrates his theory. Consequently, the visitor becomes familiar with his investigative approach that lends itself to an active museography. The rich graphic environment that reminds of the naturalist illustrations of the 19th century enhances the experience, offering in-depth immersion into Darwin’s thinking. The exhibition reveals a fascinating, often misunderstood, universe to be discovered, which continues to influence our thinking and imagination. Charles Darwin, the Original is produced by Universcience in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History of Paris. The exhibition will be presented from December 2015 until August 2016 – Available for touring from Autumn 2017.
