CERN is recruiting a creative-thinking Communications Officer with excellent communication skills. Deadline is 8 February.
In August 2018 we were contracted with the concept and detailed design of Techniquest‘s Science Capital, and, half a year later, to design and build it.The Science Capital project has been the biggest in nearly 34 years of Techniquest’s existence and was aimed to radically transform the science centre and diversify their audience. It consists of a significant extension, expanding the floor space by 60% and introducing 52 brand-new exhibits. The Science Capital was officially opened to the public on 14th November 2020.
In April 2019 we were contracted by Aberdeen Science Centre for the development, design, fabrication and installation of 60 exhibits and associated graphics for the new interactive galleries as part of a £6m renovation project. The ground floor themes are Energy, Space, Life Sciences and a special area for the under-6s. On the new First Floor exhibition is Make It and Test It, themed primarily on engineering and maths. The exhibits were chosen to be open ended, developing skills and encouraging repeat visits.
In January 2019 we were entrusted with the design and build of 86 interactive exhibits for the Medicine Education Center within Technoda Science & Technology Education Center. The hands-on, interactive exhibits are aimed to engage visitors of all ages in technologies that are used in medicine. The individual exhibits explore several themes, including ultrasound, endoscopy and surgery. The Medicine Education Center will be officially opened to the public end of 2020.

A Netherlands-based consortium of experts and high-tech companies – some of which were also involved in the development of the London Eye – is launching a unique attraction: the Spiral Tower. The world’s first climate-neutral high-rise attraction, the Spiral Tower is an architectural eye-catcher. It features integrated solar panels, vertical gardens and is crowned with an urban windmill. The Spiral Tower will become a landmark for city centres, urban developments, expo terrains and parks, offering visitors 360-degree views of their surroundings.
