Artatomy is an exhibition of anatomy inspired artworks created by medical and biomedical science students. This project is hosted by Newcastle Medical School in collaboration with Dr Iain Keenan, visual artist Rachael Allen, and four medical students. Funded by Newcastle Institute of Creative Arts Practice Award 2014.

The first Science Center in the SaarLorLux region, the Science Center Ferrodrom®, in the burden shed with its area of more than 10,000 m2, invites the visitor to discover the fascinating world of iron and steel. Ferrodrom® takes visitors from the early days of iron production right through to high-tech products of the future. With the four elements fire, water, earth, and air, iron can be produced at its best. These elements can be sampled with the fire- and wind tornado, the ice cube or the wind-machine.

On August 25 the mayor of Amsterdam opened Europe’s highest swing called “OverTheEdge”. This one of a kind swing is placed on top of Amsterdam’s latest visitor attraction the A’DAM Tower. Visitor literally swing over the edge and get a magical experience floating in mid air 100 meters above the city.
Terramar Museum, Bonaire first to tell Caribbean history
On 5 August the Terramar Museum will open on Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles. It is the first museum to tell the history of the whole Caribbean region. Bonaire is visited by thousands of tourists and cruise passengers daily. Most of these visitors have little knowledge of the mix of cultures that lived on the islands and whose traces can still be found. The stories told in the Terramar Museum will give visitors a renewed and richer perspective on the history of this special part of the world.
In September 2013 we were entrusted with the development of a master plan for the Tech Dome Penang, a hub for technology learning, exchange of ideas and a vehicle for improving scientific literacy and technology ability in Malaysia.

On 21 April the innovative Energetica exhibition, designed by NorthernLight, has opened at science museum NEMO in Amsterdam. The rooftop square of the iconic building will add an extra floor to the museum. Entry to the new exhibition Energetica is free of charge and the exhibition is exclusively dedicated to the elements – sun, water, wind – as a source of energy.
Experimenta, the popular science centre in Heilbronn, is on a mission to become the most innovative science centre in Germany. The international architectural competition was won by Dieter Schwarz, architects from Berlin. NorthernLight in partnership with Bruns will develop two of the four permanent galleries.
Nature conservation is an important value in Artis, the olders zoo in the Netherlands. Artis is partner in an international projects to save the threatened Polynesian Tree Snails. Visitors in Artis can see the nursery lab in the renovated design for the Artis Insectarium. Next to the nursery, visitors can learn about the importance and perishing of bees through hands-on and multimedia exhibits.
Dialogue with Time is an interactive exhibition about the art of aging, while challenging stereotypes and giving a glimpse into the society of the future. The guided tour is led by specially trained seniors, who work as ambassadors for the diversity of aging and the extra time that most of us will gain after retirement.
