International Symposium - 1st & 2nd February
Cultural offer for children evolves rapidly, as does our society. Let's put our heads together to find new ways of supporting the development of children aged 2 to 10, so that they can flourish and meet the challenges that lie ahead. The conference will be chaired by Brune Bottero, journalist, youth science communicator and podcast author.
To celebrate the European Year of Cultural Heritage, Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie has invited some of its European partners to the national Science Festival in Paris, France. From October 5th to 7th, some of their best scientific facilitators will host booths in a unique European village in the great hall of the Cité. This free and open for all event will help shining a light on European scientific and technical cultures to our 65,000 expected visitors.
The 32nd Edition of the Science & Technology Education and Communication meeting (JIES) will be held in Chamonix, France, from the 21st to the 24th of May 2013. This year's presentations will focus on Games and gaming in science education and communication. Organised by Les Atomes crochus, L’île logique and Traces, this 1st Science Clowns event (“Des Clowns et des Sciences”) will offer audiences a set of clown conferences and shows on science in various prestigious venues in Paris, France. A conference will take place in parallel for scientists, explainers and professional clowns to explore their respective universes.

Stories about this genius remind us that humankind will be nothing without the dreamers. We should give kids the opportunity to explore their dreams, and AR (augmented reality) is one way to do so.
From 3 to 9 December 2023, Universcience organised, in partnership with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and in scientific partnership with the French National Institute for Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP), the fourth edition of the residency for young international scientific talent, dedicated to the theme of "sport & science" for this Olympic year. This residency was officially certified “Cultural Olympiad” by Paris 2024.
