SPOKES #61

Spokes is now in Arabic!

NAMES Network, our sister organisation in North Africa and the Middle East have translated five Spokes articles into Arabic for our readers.

Since the end of 2019, we created a partnership to exchange content with NAMES Network (North Africa and Middle East science centres), our sister network in this region with whom we collaborate regularly. NAMES have an online platform called “ALDALEEL” which gathers resources aimed for science engagement professionals in the region. They have been translating particular Spokes articles to contribute to on the ALDALEEL platform, which are available for all readers. Look out for more translated articles, as we continue to publish editions of Spokes Magazine.

The articles cover five different topics of science engagement:

  • Strategy and development
  • Human development
  • Marketing and fundraising
  • Exhibitions
  • Programmes

Please share the resource with all Arabic-speaking science engagement professionals and welcome them to the Ecsite community.
