The European Commission recently launched a consultation to inform the 2016-2017 “Science with and for Society” Programme (part of the Horizon 2020 funding framework). Ecsite is gathering contributions from science engagement organizations and professionals (both members and non-members) in order to submit a contribution in the network’s name.
The European Commission has just launched a consultation “to better understand the full societal potential of ‘Science 2.0’ as well as the desirability of any possible policy action.”
Ecsite is coordinating proposal for the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Call for Integrating society in science and innovation under the topic: “Pan-European public outreach: exhibitions and science cafés engaging citizens in science”. Ecsite is looking to involve one of its members as “third party” in each member state of the European Union (a few are already covered).
The next Ecsite quarterly members magazine will be out in three weeks. Do you have any new exhibition, senior staff move, obituary or resource you would like to share with the network? Send 100 words and a high quality picture to communications@ecsite.eu.
