We are pleased to invite Ecsite members to join in a new Horizon2020 project that we are applying for as partners. You are invited to apply to be a Third Party on a new call under the topic: ‘Call for proposals to identify and implement novel ways to highlight the work funded by the ERC and reach out a wider public’

The ERC (European Research Council) is an EU agency dedicated to support frontier research. The project will develop a communications campaign to raise the awareness of the ERC-funded research results among students, investors, policy makers, researchers, and all citizens.

A limited number of awe-inspiring science stories and unique grantees’ experience will be selected, and high-impact content packages around them will be built. These stories will be clustered around six big themes, for example (exact themes will be defined during the project, this is just mentioned as an example):

• Brain • Food • Nanotechnologies • robotics etc

Third parties will be expected to run activities on 2 or 3 of these topics.
