The European Commission has just launched a consultation “to better understand the full societal potential of ‘Science 2.0’ as well as the desirability of any possible policy action.” Digital tools, the globalization of the science community and other factors have had an impact on the whole research cycle – this new model is called ‘Science 2.0’ (echoing ‘web 2.0’). Actors of the science engagement may want to make contributions on participative science, public engagement, dissemination models…
Citizens, organizations and public authorities can contribute until 30 September. More on the consultation website.
