Communicating science through sensational stories

Science is full of stories and telling them well is an art form! In this interactive, playful workshop, participants will approach abstract science concepts through a series of theatre games and exercises to distil these concepts into immediate, relatable stories. Participants will leave with fresh ideas about communicating science clearly, concisely, and with flair and dynamics that will inspire anyone to connect with science. From physicalising matter, to personifying processes, to creating scripts that keep the audience hanging on every discovery, each participating group will create their own original 60-second educational theatrical production to be shared during the session! Dress comfortably and be prepared to move around!
