Inspired by the scenes represented in the 19th Century French artist Gustave Doré's engravings, Inferno (hell) recreates exceptionally realistic scenes offering a three-dimensional shape to Dante's visions of hell.​

Charon, ferryman of souls in Hades, the Furies and the Harpies, many mythological creatures and animals belonging to medieval bestiaries, together with historical characters - met by Dante during his imaginary journey - who remind us of the historical events of the time.​
