I AM AI - Explaining Artificial Intelligence

The "I AM AI" exhibition showcases AI's potential, societal impact, and limitations while encouraging reflection on its creative uses and ethical challenges

Artificial Intelligence is one of the most exciting technologies of our time. It can regulate traffic, write poetry, recognize speech and handwriting, and compute the unexpected. But how exactly does it function? In which areas is it already helping society? And where are its limitations?

The exhibition "I AM AI" not only explains the concepts behind AI but also invites visitors to think critically about them. While many exhibits offer a playful, creative, and artistic engagement with AI, others address more challenging societal issues, such as the impact of AI on the environment or its use in crime prediction. AI is everywhere, affecting everyone, and any exhibition attempting to explain it cannot ignore these difficult questions.

The exhibition consists of 13 exhibits. They are available in German and English, and some have also been translated into other languages:

  • Talk to me
  • Gradient Descent
  • Sumory
  • Neural Numbers
  • Simple Networks
  • Reinforcement Learning
  • Predictive Policing?
  • The Turing Game Table
  • The Ethics of Autonomous Vehicles
  • Anatomy of an AI System
  • We need to talk, AI
  • Con Espressione!
  • AI Cinema

The exhibition is available for rent, for sale, or to rebuild yourself.
