Back for the future: the escape room!

Come and play our sustainability-themed virtual escape room run over Zoom! Up to 6 players will control a live actor and solve the puzzles within the time limit. Audience members can join in via the chat.

The year is 2050 and Earth has been devastated by the climate crisis. It’s too late to save the planet now, the only solution is to go back in time and set humanity on the right course. Your colleague will travel to the year 2021 and finish off the vital research needed for a green, sustainable Ireland. Work as a team and help them solve the puzzles across space and time before there's no future for them to go back to!

This escape room was a joint project between BiOrbic Research Centre and Green House NGO. It was co-funded by European Research Night events, Science in the City and START and you can find out more in our session on 10 June at 12.30.
