EXTRA, the marketplace for scientific touring exhibitions.
The highlights of the exhibition are the reconstructions of the prehistoric Sea-Giants and animated virtual models.
The reconstructions of aquatic animals of the past are a highlight of this exhibition: as an example, there is the Plesiosaurus specimen that inspired the legend of the Loch Ness monster. In a Paleontologist’s Lab, visitors can hear stories and curiosities about prehistoric marine reptiles, along with fascinating light and projection games. The Jurassic experience continues in the VR area, where, sitting on armchairs, visitors can experience a particularly realistic and exciting world through virtual technology. Special glassfans, with a multitude of extinct marine animals are illustrated on a natural scale as proof of the richness in marine prehistoric life. The exhibition was developed in collaboration with the famed Aquarium of Genova in Italy.
