Crafting teaching-learning models for museums and science centres

This session will present the teaching-learning models of four different museums and science centres with a particular focus on how to underpin the work of the institution. The teaching-learning model includes aspects related to the design, instruction and assessment of activities focusing on what to teach, how to teach it, how the visitor is involved, and in what context the teaching-learning process occurs. In other words, what must be taken into account when planning and implementing activities. Join this session to appreciate new teaching-learning models for science museums that can be adapted to improve practice, and discuss the essential elements of a museum’s educational activities.
