Nils Hornstrup, Senior Science Consultant and former Deputy Director of Experimentarium has passed away on May 17th 2016 following a very brief illness.
The Space Group workshop “Space for Life - Develop and share resources”, organised by ESA and Ecsite will take place on 7–8 June at the Graz Art Museum, Kunshtaus. It will include a presentation of ESA highlights 2016-2018 and space news from the Austria Space Agency. Representatives of science centres and museums will work together on three pilot projects that will be developed with the support of ESA and shared within the Ecsite network during the next years. ESA will also be present at the Business Bistro. ESA will have a very special guest this year, Jean François Clervoy,who will take part in the preconference workhop and we'll be the main speaker at the session "Cooperation in the Space: the ISS"
The A’DAM LOOKOUT on the 20th and 21st floor of the A’DAM Tower on the IJ in Amsterdam is open to the public. The indoor and outdoor sky decks, offering 360 degrees’ views of Amsterdam, have been enriched by a series of unique, interactive visitor experiences designed by NorthernLight.
