We are pleased to announce that the Malta Council for Science and Technology is issuing a Call for Tenders for the provision of a Unique and Bespoke Brand Identity. The Malta Council for Science and Technology will commission a reputable individual or firm to perform tasks as specified in the Call for Tenders dossier.
Interested bidders are to submit a proposal clearly marked “MCST/21/2012: Call for Tenders for the Provision of the Creation of a Unique and Bespoke Brand Identity for the National Interactive Science Centre, Malta”.
Intel BASEF is an annual scientific competition, organized by the Planetarium Science Center at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, for youths ages 14—18 years. Participants receive training in research and presentation skills through a comprehensive program conducted by the PSC team. Moreover, they receive technical and financial support during conducting their researches. Finally, they present their projects’ findings under 17 science and humanities themes.
Scitech’s Playing with Light exhibition has won the inaugural Creative Science Exhibit award at the annual Asia Pacific Network of Science and Technology Centers (ASPAC) conference hosted at the National Science Museum in Daejeon, South Korea.
The award honours an exhibition that effectively realises science popularisation in a creative way.

The final Science: it’s a Girl Thing! Gender Day happened at Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, Poland, 5 December 2012. This event challenged the popular stereotypes and proved that science is not all about older men in glasses.

The exhibition is taking place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conferences Center – West Exhibition Hall.
