The Week of Science and Technology is the most extensive science festival in the Czech Republic. The 2019 Week of Science and Technology will run from 11-17 November 2019. We sincerely invite you to come!
The programme for the Week of Science and Technology of the Czech Academy of Sciences offers events all over the Czech Republic – in every regional seat and many other places.
The Science Fair is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic, which has been organized annually since 2015 by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. It shows science in all its forms and offers to visitors the most interesting things from the world of natural, technical, humanities and social sciences. It presents science and research as a fascinating and essential branch of human activity. Visitors will experience science first-hand through interactive exhibits, models, mobile laboratories and practical workshops.
Until spring 2021, National Geographic - Planet or Plastic is the theme of the National Geographic photo exhibition. It shows a collection of journalistic photographs about the production of plastic, via its use until the stage of litter. Artistic photographs will also be on display, drawing attention to the scale and sad effects of our use of plastic. The exhibition also shows photographs of scientific research of the plastic problem and the search for solutions to the pollution of the oceans.
