Microlife brings together graphic work by photographer and biologist Rubén Duro and our designers, engineers and scientists to explore the world that is present but cannot be seen. It is an open look through both the simplest and the most complex instruments to understand the world that accompanies us silent, invisible to the human eye, but by no means less rich, varied, incredibly sophisticated and, as if by chance, unexpectedly beautiful. Being able to experiment with our own hands the limitations of the human eye pushes us beyond these limits, playing with lenses and their different strengths to get into the nearby universe of unknown and invisible life and matter. We will be able to see these tiny organisms while they are moving, eating, reproducing… and to spy them in real life under the lens of interactive microscopes.
