Comets

Delve into the fascinating world of comets, the oldest and least-known
celestial bodies of our solar system, that formed some 4.6 billion years ago.
Precious traces of our origins are frozen in time inside their nuclei. Find
out more about them with our exhibition!

EXPOSITION ITINÉRANTE COMÈTES

TAKE PART IN AN ARCHAEOLOGICAL SPACE MISSION!

Featuring experiments, unprecedented demonstrations, a life-size lander and astronomical discoveries, “Comets” whisks visitors away on a fun and educational exploration and adventure that will satisfy all curious minds, from enthusiasts and explorers to dreamers, young and old alike.

A trail based on two themed areas :

  • What are comets? Where do they come from?

Don’t confuse them with other small celestial bodies!

  • Spotlight on the Rosetta/Philae mission, a first in the history of humanity.

... and a ‘live show’ space dedicated to experiments and demonstrations:

  • The Comet Lab

.

“Comets“ offers museums and other exhibition venues the opportunity to tackle an original, temporary concept with a direct, topical theme. An opportunity for visitors to enjoy an unprecedented experience that cleverly combines museography with hands-on activities.

.

The distinctive feature of our exhibitions is the hands-on labs: each exhibition includes a lab where visitors can engage with the theme through demonstrations.

.

Monthly rental fee: €9,200. This rate may be reduced depending on the duration of the rental.
