The Ecsite Annual General Meeting will be taking place on Friday 8 June 2018, 15:45 – 17:00, in Geneva, Switzerland. All Ecsite members are welcome to attend but only Full members have voting rights.

The Forum 'Shaking up Science&Society Relations' gathered more than 100 participants ranging from science communicators to policy-makers, from DIY scientists to academics. Provocative keynotes, dialogues on art and science, inspirational words from MEPs, science espressos and lots of meaningful conversations all shook the house.
The Airbus Foundation, teaming with Autodesk Inc has just launched Discovery Space, a digital portal with educational animations and interactive aerospace-themed lessons in 3D design. All Ecsite members are invited to test it out and provide feedback on its usability.

The next European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP9) is currently being developed and negotiated. Ecsite has just released a position paper entitled "Together for a democratic and sustainable Europe". It states that FP9 should actively involve citizens in the science and innovation process. Join our advocacy efforts.
The current EU Research and Innovation Framework Programme, known as Horizon 2020, will expire at the end of 2020. The European Commission is now working on a proposal for the next Framework Programme (FP9) as part of the EU’s proposal for its next long-term budget, the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
