The Ecsite Annual General Meeting will be taking place on Wednesday 10 June at 2pm in Trento (Italy) - make sure you arrive to Trento in time to attend! Full members can also bring candidates forward for the Board and the Presidency. The deadline to submit a candidacy is 6 April 2015.
Ecsite is urgently looking for a Project Manager to coordinate some of its EU funded projects in the field of science communication.
Ecsite is involved in a new Horizon 2020 proposal funded by the European Commission on responsible nanotechnology. We are looking to select around 6 of our members to join us on this proposal as Third Parties.
Last summer Ecsite has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with EAZA, the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria and BGCI, Botanic Gardens Conservation International. We are launching a call for Ecsite members to contribute learning materials on local biodiversity to run a joint campaign starting next year.
Ecsite just partnered up with International Innovation, a magazine publishing global insight and analysis on current scientific research trends, as well as funding and policy issues. As such, both partners will now be relaying relevant news across each other’s networks.

The Children in Museums Award is a joint venture between the international organisation Hands On! and the European Museum Academy. The judges are on the look-out for creative and innovative exhibitions and programmes for the age group up to 14 years old. Apply before 28 February.
