For the current Horizon 2020 call Citizens and multi-actor engagement for scenario building, Ecsite is engaged as a partner on two proposals, VISIONS and SHINE, which both offer opportunities for Ecsite members to participate. The call asks for “methodologies for pan-European and multi-lingual face-to-face participatory and inclusive workshops with citizens (including youth, women) and other stakeholders, to devise scenarios, visions and storylines in relation to desirable sustainable European research and innovation futures.”

Ecsite is therefore launching a call for expression of interest to all Ecsite members who would like to participate in one of the two projects. The attached document gives details of each proposal, outlines the criteria for selection for Ecsite Third Parties for each and contains a link to the online form to be used for expressions of interest. We expect (or esteem) both proposals to be of equally high value, but only one proposal will be selected by the European Commission for this Call ISSI.2.2014.

Deadline for expressions of interest is 31 August 2014. Applicants are nonetheless encouraged to respond as early as possible as they may be contacted before this date.
