Ecsite is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Communications Intern to support the Communications Manager in executing communication initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in member engagement, digital communication, content creation, social media, and activity support. Based in the Brussels office this is a CIP, 6-month contract with the possibility to extend.
The successful candidate will gain insight and hands on experience in communication within the non-profit and science communication sectors and develop valuable skills that are critical for career growth.

Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
Native level English language, written and spoken
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
A good understanding of communicating to different audiences.
A feel for working in a service industry organisation
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic understanding of social media analytics.
Basic graphic design skills (experience with Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus).
Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress experience is a plus).
Personal Attributes:
Creative, proactive, and eager to learn with a genuine interest in good communication.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
