Śląski Festiwal Nauki KATOWICE
The Silesian Science Festival is the largest science popularization event in Poland. Based in Katowice it is hosted by 9 public universities based in the Silesian voivodship. Each year the festival programme consists of hundreds of activities promoting science and art: lectures, workshops, exhibition stands, exhibitions, concerts, meetings with special guests, and other initiatives.
Xylopolis Centrum Sztuki i Nauki o Drewnie
Xylopolis, through modern, audience-engaging exhibitions, will tell the story of all the ways wood has been used in the economy, science and arts. The centre will provide visitors with information on how strongly this raw material has influenced human culture. Thanks to modern technology it will show the secrets and beauty of the primeval forest and forest ecosystems.
