The call for 2023 Conference session proposals closed on 31 October. A big thank you to all who submitted.
First feedback will be given to all submissions in December, but here are some interesting facts about this year's submissions vs 2021:
- 20% more submissions were received from member and non-member organisations
- Speakers and facilitators applied from 100 more organisations
- Applications came from 50% more countries
The diverse set of subjects includes:

- Exhibit development
- Learning
- Research, theory & evaluation
- Explainers & visitor services
- Business & Fundraising
"I was delighted to discover a lot of fresh topics and new speakers in the session proposals" said Wiktor Gajewski, Ecsite Event Manager. "We received very diverse submissions that will come together in an excellent programme for the 2023 Ecsite Conference."
The Conference Programme Committee will meet at the beginning of December to review all submissions and decide on the complete programme for 2023.
