An enhanced version of the SALL Open Schooling Roadmap is available!

The EU-funded project Schools As Living Labs released an enhanced version of its Open Schooling Roadmap for teachers and educators.
This roadmap is a hands-on manual helping science educators in the planning and implementation of open-schooling projects to approach science education, and education in general, in a different way. Open Schooling approaches education programs by fostering and building new collaboration between schools and local communities.

The new version contains more tips, inspiring examples, practical tools to help educators to engage in, and develop a Living Lab Project in their class or educational activities.

Schools as living labs

The SALL project aims to open-up schools to their local communities by transforming them in Living Labs. In this way, SALL proposes a new framework for schools across Europe to approach their science education programmes, in order to make STEM teaching more relevant, systemic and inclusive for their students, collaborating with their local ecosystems and research centres, and with the active support and involvement of science centres and museums in this process.
