Ecsite members are invited to apply to be part of the Horizon Europe proposal ORHIZON which responds to the call Breeding for resilience: focus on root-based traits. Its main objective is to develop new crop varieties and agro-ecological systems to contribute to the transition to a more resilient and sustainable European agriculture.
The role of the Affiliated Parties will be to co-create and perform with researchers and citizens science engagement activities around plant biology and agronomy. They will also have to create and provide a series of communication and science engagement training for scientists.

The applicant institution should be located in one of the following countries: the Member States of the European Union, including their outermost regions and Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
