The CoRRI Forum (CoRRI) is an output of SISCODE that has the objective to promote a wider application of RRI in co-creation activities for all practitioners, co-creation labs and other initiatives. Having this in mind, CoRRI is hosting a series of workshops to diffuse the outputs and outcomes of the SISCODE project and the SISCODE labs. In the First Cycle of Workshops which took place in July 2020, CoRRI addressed the four phases of the SISCODE co-creation journey with the intention of providing hands-on experience on the SISCODE Toolbox for Co-creation Journeys’s functionalities.
In the Second Cycle of Workshops, the focus will be on introducing the 10 long-term co-creation journeys undertaken by the labs with the aim to discuss and interact based on these cases and their approaches to addressing specific societal challenges. After more than two years of accumulated experiences in building capacities in co-creation, the 10 SISCODE labs (Fab Labs, Living Labs and Science Centres and Museums) hold a rich experience which makes them an excellent Co-creation Ambassador to share their first-hand experiences with diverse audiences interested in co-creation in Research and Innovation practices and policymaking.
PROGRAMME
- WS1: Pursuing synergies with other initiatives and practitioners that use co-creation in RRI, by labs ThessAHALL and Fab Lab Barcelona, 21 October 2020; 15.00 - 17.00 CET
- WS2: Creating a ‘safe-room’ for transparent exchanges of opinions and ideas between practitioners and policymakers, by labs Polifactory, Krakow Technology Park and Science Gallery Dublin, 28 October 2020; 15.00 - 17.00 CET
- WS3: Engaging policymakers in the co-creation activities and outcomes and creating a reliable feedback loop, by labs Polifactory, Pavilion of Knowledge and Cube, 4 November 2020; 15.00 - 17.00 CET

WHO IS IT FOR?
The workshops are open to anyone interested in the application of co-creation journeys and the challenges met by the developers of such activities: co-creation labs and co-creation practitioners, academics and policy researchers, policymakers in the fields of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Science, Technology and Innovation (STI).
GOAL & EXPECTED OUTCOMES
With these workshops, participants will learn about but most importantly have the opportunity to reflect on and appropriate the tools and techniques tested by the SISCODE labs throughout their co-creation journey. After each presentation, attendants will take the time to question and reflect with the labs about the uses of the presented tools, and also further study their uses through pre-prepared hands-on activities facilitated by the labs and SISCODE partners. In this manner, participants will collaboratively assess how to apply these tools in other own contexts.
