“La rentrée” often brings changes in Brussels and this year at Ecsite is no different. We have two new colleagues.

Shane Heneghan joins us as Acting Communications and Events Officer (as cover for Helen who is on maternity leave). He will edit Spokes and will assist Raquel with events promotion and communications with participants. He is Irish and has been in Brussels since 2013 working for various organisations across the Eurobubble.

The project management team also has a new colleague. Aleksandra Kowalska is from Poland and has been in Brussels for five years. She will work on projects in the area of open schooling and collaboration on science education as well as science communication and engagement.
