The Open University currently has a number of full-time PhD Studentships available in the School of Environment, Earth and Ecosystem Sciences based in Milton Keynes starting in October 2020. Please check funding nationality/residence requirements carefully before applying.

OU-funded PhDs: all nationalities are eligible

These PhDs attract a stipend of £15,009 per annum for 3 years through funding from the Open University.

For your application you will need to submit:

• a cover letter outlining why the project is of interest and how your experience, skills and aptitude are well suited to the project,
• an academic CV,
• a Home OU Application Form (if you are resident in the UK or European Economic Area) OR
• an Overseas OU application form (for all other applicants)
• contact details of three academic references
