This guide, produced by Climateoutreach.org, explains how to have conversations about climate change. The producers took inspiration and cues from conversations between family, friends, and colleagues on the topic of climate change. The aim is to facilitate the communication beyond the green bubble - and eventually increase the dialogue between participants.
The handbook is centred around the mnemonic REAL TALK, that is:
Respect your conversational partner and find common ground
Enjoy the conversation
Ask questions
Listen
Tell your story
Action makes it easier
Learn from the conversation
Keep going and keep connected
