The FIT4FOOD2030 City Labs are delighted to have been selected as showcases in the publication “European cities leading in urban food systems transformation: connecting the City of Milan with FOOD 2030”. The report is a great opportunity to share the practices, approaches and tools Ecsite members and other project partners are putting in place in their role as 'City Lab' hosts with practitioners from other cities interested in transforming food systems via Research and Innovation (R&I) in Europe and beyond.

FIT4FOOD2030

FIT4FOOD2030 supported the development and implementation of the European Commission’s FOOD 2030 policy framework to transform European food systems towards greater sustainability, resilience, competitiveness and inclusion. The project integrated existing and emerging networks and infrastructures, creating Communities of Practice that foster RRI and use transformative learning processes to build competences among citizens and stakeholders who are not currently actively integrated in decision-making.
