On 25-29 June, Ellinogermaniki Agogi (EA) is organising a series of music-themed workshops that will take place next to the project stand at the lobby of EA in Pallini, Greece.
Throughout this week's activities, the ERC=Science2 stand will be installed in three different locations so that not only students and their families can visit it, but also any other public that wants to engage with it.
The activities will be linked to the stand's content: a sensory accessibility exercise and an instrument-making workshop with a 3D printer will take place, among others.
The workshops will be carried out from 9.30 to 16.00 and they will be open for everybody visiting the venues and the tent.
A science cafe is also scheduled to take place on 27 June at 11.00 in the school area. Professor Haris Xanthoudakis will talk about the connection between music and science in an informal atmosphere so that attendees are all encouraged to participate.
About 50 participants, mostly high school students, are expected to attend this event.
This Music week will be followed by activities on Senses, which will start on 1 July. The stand will be installed at the World Robotics Olympics (WRO) Hellas Finals in the Olympic Stadium of Athens, and a series of senses themed workshops will take place next to the stand.
On 5 July the project stand will be at the garden of the EIE (National Hellenic Research Foundation) at the centre of Athens, where senses themed workshops are also scheduled to take place.
A Skype connection with ERC grantee Xavier Serra is scheduled on July 6 at the teachers summer school in Marathon.
