#Ecsite2018 Highlights 5 June

Discover yesterday’s slideshow summary, looking back on the first of two days of in-depth pre-conference workshops.

Enroled in one of five parallel full-day workshops, attendees explored how to engage audiences with space; dusted up their evaluation fundamentals; discussed inquiry-based workshops for high school students; unraveled the potential of live action games as communication tool; or deepened their understanding of data-based marketing.

In the evening, the Natural History Museum of Geneva invited participants to an exhibition opening at the History of Science Museum located on the banks of Lake Geneva. The "Animal beauty - From taxidermy to sculptors" exhibition features François Chapelain-Midy, Yvan Larsen and Thierri Jaccoud.

Today's expected highlights: the pre-conference is continuing today, with six parallel full-day workshops ranging from social inclusion to experience design. This evening speakers and convenors were invited to attend the Speakers Reception at CERN's Globe of Innovation.
