Since the end of 2017, visitors at Innovatum Science Center can explore a new exhibition dedicated to Space! The formal opening was celebrated in the presence of 200 children and partners on the 18th of December, and a formidable duo of tiny astronauts did the honours during the ribbon-cutting ceremony!
Among the special exhibits on offer, a rocket allows visitors to send their name into Space and a model of the International Space Station (ISS) is on display to bring the largest-ever international scientific venture closer to the public’s imagination.
Those who want to learn more can explore the ISS exhibition developed by the Ecsite Space Group with the support of the European Space Agency and get to know the European Astronaut Corps that has been undertaking missions on the ISS since 2001 and their out of the ordinary daily life and work aboard the station.
The exhibition has proven to be a very popular activity over the winter break with over 4000 children and adults visiting in just nine days. Innovatum Science Center looks forward to welcoming more schools, families and even foreign tourists from as far as away as Asia and the USA to this new space dedicated to Space!
