The Science Gallery is seeking a new Marketing Manager to lead the marketing and communications of their new venue.
Managing a small team and working with external agencies as appropriate, the role will develop and deliver a launch strategy for the opening of the new Gallery in 2018 and will be responsible for managing the brand, raising the profile of the wider work of Science Gallery London and attracting audiences to exhibitions and events, both during the pre-opening period and post launch.
The candidate will have experience of developing and implementing overarching marketing and communications strategies as well as leading on marketing and communications planning for exhibitions, performances and other public-facing events and activities across multiple seasons. Also essential are: outstanding communication, networking and interpersonal skills in person and in writing; strong digital media knowledge; and a creative, friendly, can-do approach.
Excellent people management and organisational skills and the ability to build productive working relationships across a complex organisation and among a diverse group of stakeholders will be key. Experience communicating the launch of a new public-facing venue and in marketing and communications targeting 15-25s is highly desirable.
