The conference is an excellent time to hold meetings with partners from all over the world. We offer different spaces for:

Private meetings with many partners:

Book one of the two rooms available at the convention centre, from 13 to 17 June.
Note: meetings can not take longer than 1.5 - 2 hours.

Quick catch up around a table:

At the Business Bistro there is a pop-up office with a large table with plugs for charging laptop batteries. This communal table is used on a first come first served basis and is a quiet working space, ideal for quick catch ups.

Relaxed chat fueled by a cup of coffee:

Use one of many lounge areas distributed throughout the Business Bistro area to catch up with colleagues and partners you don't often meet. These areas are strategically placed near the coffee areas, in the fresh and dynamic Business Bistro space.

2017 Ecsite Conference

This 28th edition brought 1,058 participants from 52 different countries to Porto, Portugal.  A warm thank you to our brilliant hosts: Natural History and Science Museum of the University of Porto (MHNC-UP) and Ciência Viva - and of course to all the participants who make this conference so special!
