What kind of partnerships do we need to implement the mindset of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) in non-formal education? How do science centres and museums fit in RRI? How to understand what is RRI and what is not? In what ways can RRI Toolkit help science engagement organisations? The pre-conference workshop "Putting RRI into practice" held on 7 June 2016 as part of the Ecsite Annual Conference 2016 “Colours of Cooperation” in Graz, Austria provoked many questions and triggered discussions among participants. Science centres, museums and other science engagement organisations are interested in exploring what RRI can bring for informal and non-formal education institutions. Other activities related to RRI during the conference included a session on Responsible Public Engagement and sharing practical experiences with implementing RRI.
