Call for RRI Showcases poster session at SYNENERGENE Forum

Are you involved in any projects on RRI and emerging technologies? Get a chance to present your project during the SYNENERGENE Forum in Amsterdam in June 2016!

During the two-day forum event (24-25 June 2016) we want to share our RRI experiences and achievements with relevant stakeholders and publics, including scientists, civil society organizations, industry and policy makers, and discuss the development of a synthetic biology agenda for the (near) future.

Submit a 100 word abstract of your poster to Antonina Khodzhaeva at akhodzhaeva@ecsite.eu by Tuesday 31 May 2016 (EOB).

Project

SYNENERGENE

This project engaged stakeholders and the public in an open dialogue concerning synthetic biology’s potential benefits and risks and explored possibilities for its “collaborative shaping” on the basis of public participation. Ecsite brought together stakeholders to share expertise, learn from each other and develop a common understanding of crucial aspects of synthetic biology, later used to create and deliver public engagement activities.
