The deadline to apply for the JCOM Masterclasses course “Developing successful museums and science centres” is 25 September.
The course will help participants who are already, or plan to be, involved in such projects to set their goals, to choose among current opportunities, to build up teams, to develop a master-plan, to choose a marketing and branding strategy, etc.
The participants will have the opportunity to share and discuss their projects with colleagues and tutors. The speakers, leading professionals in the field, will be available for a 1-1 problem solving session.
Speakers and tutors are leading professionals, researchers in science communication and experts at an international level. Among them: Sharon Ament (Director Museum of London), Peter Higgins (Creative Director Land Design Studio), Gordon Rankmore (Museum and Heritage Consultant), Paola Rodari (Project Manager, SISSA Medialab) and Phillip Tefft (Director The London Studio - Ralph Appelbaum Associates)
The fee for the course is 950 Euros. This fee covers all training costs such as tuition, documentation, lunches, refreshments and social dinner. This sum is reduced by 30% (665 Euros) for the Ecsite members.
The course will be held in Trieste, 7-11 December 2015.
