The UK-based research organisation is running a series called "Frontiers Meetings": "provocative meetings that challenge and disrupt thinking on a subject concerning the future of health, medicine, science or society. They use these meetings to inform their thinking and strategic direction, with the purpose of:
- provoking and shaking up thinking on an issue
- pushing the boundaries by exploring alternative approaches to a challenge
- bringing together experts from different sectors, disciplines and nations to gain fresh perspectives
- activating change.
They hold two or three meetings a year, usually over two days, with 40-50 key leaders from different sectors and disciplines.
