JCOM MASTERCLASSES: Special rate for Ecsite members

JCOM Masterclasses

JCOM Masterclasses are 5-days courses in cutting-edge communication of science that will be held in Autumn/Winter 2015-16 in Trieste (Italy) for scientists, museum educators, science communicators but also designers, architects, managers of cultural institutions and other professionals involved in science communication projects. Two of the courses are especially tailored for the training needs of the Ecsite community:

Developing successful museums and science centres

Trieste, 7-11 December 2015

Speakers and tutors are leading professionals in the industries, academics and other experts on an international level. Participants have the opportunity to present and discuss their own projects, as well as collect suggestions from the speakers and colleagues coming from all around the world (more than 80 people partecipated to the 2014 courses coming from 23 different countries).

The fee for all courses is 950 Euros. This fee covers all training costs such as tuition, documentation, lunches, refreshments, social dinner and organized visits. This sum is reduced by 30% (665 Euros) for the Ecsite members.

A limited number of grants that cover all costs are also available for participants working in developing countries (applications for grants have to be submitted until 30th of April, 2015).

Maximum number of participants per course: 25.
