During the upcoming weekend (1st and 2nd of February) in Zagreb will be organized by Ecsite’s member Aquis, several events regarding science communication and popularization of science. After the mini workshop during the 1st of February, at 18 o’clock, at the popular student gathering place (Teatar ITD) there will be organized a public discussion where the speakers will be:

- Dejan Vinkovic, astrophysicist, professor on Science faculty University of Split, founder of Science and Society Synergy Institute - Jelena Filipaj, Science center Zagreb project manager

– Livio Riboli Sasco, evolutionary biologist, teaching in “science studies”, co-founder of Atelier des Jous à Venir, Europe

– Paola Rodari, program manager at Sissa Medialab, trainer and consultant for Science Centres

– Ana Jovanovic, co-founder of Festival Nauke, Belgrade

– Irene Lapuente, physicist & dancer, founder of La Mandarina de Newton, creative place where science & society meet

On the 2nd of February (Saturday, 18 o’clock) there will be organized a video screening “Science in the city” with suggestions and questions about the subjects: Science, technology and the city.
