The European Topic Centre on Biological Diversity (ETC-BD) is looking for a Senior Officer on Ecosystem Assessments for its office at The French Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (MNHN) in Paris.

The ETC-BD is a long-term European Environment Agency project that provides expertise and support on biodiversity in Europe. The project is led by the MNHN.

Description

Based in Paris, the Senior Officer on Ecosystem assessments is expected to manage projects related to ecosystem assessments and provide policy support in his/her area of expertise. The Officer will plan and elaborate projects, organise and monitor work, provide expertise as well as represent the ETC/BD in their fields of expertise. The post starts in April 2020.

Details

Candidates are expected to have an MSc or PhD in a relevant field, as well as 5 years of experience at least. Good communicative and organisational skills are necessary, as well as knowledge of EU environmental policies. The working language is English, a good command of French would be, however, much appreciated.
