Trondheim Science Centre is a science discovery centre for the promotion of science and technology for children and people of all ages. Here you can explore about 150 interactive installations, use our maker space and visit the only 3D-planetrium in Norway.
Our main goals are to promote science in such a way that school children chooses it as a subject in high school, college and university, and to work with science capital amongst the general public. The centre has about 85 000 visitors every year. We work closely with the municiplaitiy, the NTNU University and local businesses. We provide courses for teachers in experimentation, technology and design, and we offer both education and different kinds of science shows as kitchen chemistry, science comedy and planetarium shows. We have workshops with hands on activities for school children. Trondheim Science Centre is one of 13 regional science centres in Norway. The centre is located in an historical buliding in the city centre, and has been in existence since 1988.
