At Universeum, we explore our world through science, technology and mathematics. The experiences provide children, youths, and adults with knowledge about everything from atoms and artificial intelligence to ecosystems and equations. We put this knowledge into a larger context, in an interdisciplinary perspective that helps one understand how the world is connected and how it works. With knowledge and understanding comes the desire to act for a sustainable future.
Universeum is the National Science Centre of Sweden as well as one of the ten most visited attractions in Sweden. Every year, we meet over half a million people on and off site. We work broadly in three areas to fulfill our mission: experience-based learning for increased scientific capital, biodiversity conservation, and research on lifelong learning in STEM. Through our work, we contribute to completed studies, STEM competence supply, and action competence for sustainable development.
