Climb aboard the Vaisseau to conquer the scientific world! At the Vaisseau we will sail through five universes thanks to more than 100 interactive elements that children, accompanied by adults, can manipulate, test and explore. This center, aimed at the discovery of sciences, offers a unique experience on the subjects of construction, the human body, the animal kingdom, logic, as well as a 5000 sq. m. garden. The temporary exhibition enables you to discover a new scientific topic every year. The golden rule here is: “It is forbidden not to touch”. As a place of life and exchange, the Vaisseau offers, all year round, 3D movies, demonstrations and shows, and temporary exhibitions that bring to a close a journey through the fascinating universe of science and entertainment.

The Vaisseau is a scientific discovery centre developed by the General Council of the Bas-Rhin for children from 3 to 15 years old. Located minutes from the Franco-German border, the Vaisseau welcomes visitors from both countries and accommodates international guests by offering all exhibitions in three languages (French, German and English). Special care is taken to welcome the disabled public by providing accessibility and adapted exhibits. Environmental protection is an important goal of the Vaisseau and is reflected in the selection of materials and maintenance of the building. Ecology-conscious displays and demonstrations teach children the importance of promoting conservation and protecting the environment.
