Immaginario Scientifico is a new-generation science museum with locations in Trieste and Pordenone, both situated in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy.
The museum employs original exhibition techniques and innovative animation methods, transforming the conventional practices of traditional museums. Rather than merely a space dedicated to preserving and displaying objects and instruments, Immaginario Scientifico is a vibrant, contemporary, and informal environment.
Through interactive stations and hands-on exhibits—designed not just for observation but primarily for tactile exploration—visitors engage in activating, manipulating, and experimenting. This allows them to craft their own personalized experiences, enabling discovery, wonder, and comprehension of some of science's most captivating phenomena and concepts.
